GoldenRoad Gathering LLC Liability Waiver and Consent to Use of Likeness
1. I, the undersigned, agree to work for GoldenRoad Gathering LLC as a volunteer at the GoldenRoad Gathering, July 3 - July 6, 2025.
2. I understand that I will not be compensated for any time spent volunteering, nor am I entitled to benefits, including employment insurance benefits upon the termination of this agreement or as a result of this service.
3. I am aware that participation as a volunteer may require physical tasks as described in the ADA Compliance Statement, and will require the exercise of reasonable care to avoid injury. I am voluntarily participating in this activity with knowledge of the hazards and potential dangers involved, and agree to accept any and all risks of personal injury and property damage.
Physical Requirements (ADA Compliance Statement):
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by a volunteer to successfully perform the essential functions of this role. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform these functions.

- Ability to walk and navigate festival grounds, which may include uneven terrain, grass, gravel, or pavement, for extended periods.
- Ability to stand for prolonged durations (up to 4–6 hours at a time), with opportunities for rest or sitting as needed.
- Ability to lift and carry items up to 40 pounds occasionally, such as event supplies, signage, or small equipment.
- Ability to visually read printed materials, signage, and event schedules, and to distinguish colors for tasks such as identifying credentials or signage (with or without corrective devices).
- Ability to work in outdoor environments, including exposure to various weather conditions (e.g., sun, wind, rain), as well as occasional work in dim lighting during evening or nighttime hours.
Volunteers who may require accommodations to perform these tasks are encouraged to contact the Volunteer Coordinator in advance to discuss how we can support your participation.
4. As consideration for volunteering for GoldenRoad Gathering LLC, I hereby agree that I, and my assignees, heirs, guardians, and legal representatives, will not make a claim against or sue GoldenRoad Gathering LLC or its employees, agents or contractors for injury or damage resulting from the negligence, whether active or passive, or other acts, however caused, by any of its officers, employees, agents, or contractors of GoldenRoad Gathering LLC as a result of my volunteering. I HEREBY RELEASE AND DISCHARGE GoldenRoad Gathering LLC AND ITS OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS AND CONTRACTORS FROM ALL ACTIONS, CLAIMS, OR DEMANDS THAT I, MY HEIRS, GUARDIANS, AND LEGAL REPRESENTATIVES NOW HAVE, OR MAY HAVE IN THE FUTURE, FOR INJURY OR DAMAGE RESULTING FROM MY PARTICIPATION IN THE PROJECT.
5. I UNDERSTAND THAT IF I AM INJURED IN THE COURSE OF THE PROJECT, I AM NOT COVERED BY GoldenRoad Gathering LLC’s WORKERS’ COMPENSATION PROGRAM. I authorize GoldenRoad Gathering LLC to seek emergency medical treatment on my behalf in case of injury, accident or illness to me arising from my involvement as a volunteer. I understand that I will be responsible for medical costs incurred by such accident, illness or injury.
6. I understand that the materials and tools provided by GoldenRoad Gathering LLC are and remain the property of GoldenRoad Gathering LLC, and I agree to return these tools and any remaining materials at the end of my volunteer service.

Consent to Use of Likeness
By attending or volunteering at the GoldenRoad Gathering, you grant GoldenRoad Gathering, its affiliates, partners, and authorized media representatives the right to photograph, film, and record you during the festival.
You authorize the use of your image, likeness, voice, and appearance in any media now known or later developed, including but not limited to promotional materials, social media, live streams, broadcasts, documentaries, and archival purposes—without compensation or further approval.
Scope of Use
This release applies globally and in perpetuity. The material may be edited, altered, copied, exhibited, published, or distributed for purposes including but not limited to:

- Promotional content
- Festival highlights and recap videos
- Website and social media use
- Press and media coverage
- Sponsor or partner promotions
Volunteers
As a volunteer, you understand that your role may involve being in public spaces or assisting with media creation. This release extends to all volunteer activities associated with the festival.
Opt-Out Option
If you do not wish to be photographed or recorded, please notify your Crew Chief or Department Manager upon arrival and make your preference known to photographers or videographers if approached. While we do our best to honor such requests, we cannot guarantee exclusion from all wide or crowd shots.
8. I HAVE CAREFULLY READ THIS AGREEMENT AND FULLY UNDERSTAND ITS CONTENTS.
I AM AWARE THAT THIS IS A RELEASE OF LIABILITY, AND THROUGH THE ACTION OF SUBMITTING THIS FORM, AGREE TO ALL TERMS AND CONDITIONS AND SIGN IT OF MY OWN FREE WILL.
