1. I agree to work for Golden Road Gathering LLC (Event Organizers) as a volunteer at the Golden Road Gathering (Henceforth known as the Event). 2. I understand that I will not be compensated for any time spent volunteering, nor am I entitled to benefits, including employment insurance benefits upon the termination of this agreement or as a result of this service. 3. I am aware that participation as a volunteer may require periods of physical requirements, i.e. standing, lifting and carrying heavy loads and will require the exercise of reasonable care to avoid injury. I am voluntarily participating in this activity with knowledge of the hazards and potential dangers involved, and agree to accept any and all risks of personal injury and property damage. 4. As consideration for volunteering for Golden Road Gathering LLC, I hereby agree that I, and my assignees, heirs, guardians, and legal representatives, will not make a claim against or sue Golden Road Gathering LLC or its employees, agents,volunteers, or contractors for injury or damage resulting from the negligence, whether active or passive, or other acts, however caused, by any of its officers, employees, agents, other volunteers, or contractors of Golden Road Gathering LLC as a result of my volunteering. I HEREBY RELEASE AND DISCHARGE Golden Road Gathering LLC AND ITS OFFICERS, OWNERS, PARTNERS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, VOLUNTEERS, AND CONTRACTORS FROM ALL ACTIONS, CLAIMS, OR DEMANDS THAT I, MY HEIRS, GUARDIANS, AND LEGAL REPRESENTATIVES NOW HAVE, OR MAY HAVE IN THE FUTURE, FOR INJURY OR DAMAGE RESULTING FROM MY PARTICIPATION IN THE PROJECT. 5. I UNDERSTAND THAT IF I AM INJURED IN THE COURSE OF THE Event, I AM NOT COVERED BY GOLDEN ROAD GATHERING LLC WORKERS’ COMPENSATION PROGRAM. I authorize Golden Road Gathering LLC to seek emergency medical treatment on my behalf in case of injury, accident or illness to me arising from my involvement as a volunteer. I understand that I will be responsible for medical costs incurred by such an accident, illness or injury. 6. As a volunteer I assume all loss, damage, personal injury, risk or danger incidental to the Event, whether occurring prior to, during, or subsequent to, the actual event. In order to be admitted to an Event, each Customer must present the original ticket in its original, undamaged, unaltered form, to the Golden Road box office at the appropriate time to be exchanged for a wristband. Entry may be refused for various reasons, including misconduct, intoxication, etc., as determined by Golden Road Gathering LLC. Volunteer grants Golden Road Gathering LLC the right to use their image/likeness as captured on film, video, or any other medium being utilized at the Event, and further understands that such images will likely be used to promote future events. 7. An inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 exists in any place where people gather. COVID-19 is an extremely contagious disease that can lead to severe illness and death. By volunteering, I assume all risks, hazards, and dangers arising from or relating in any way to the risk of contracting COVID-19 or any other communicable disease or illness, or a bacteria, virus or other pathogen capable of causing a communicable disease or illness, whether occurring before, during, or after the Event, however caused or contracted, and voluntarily waive all claims and potential claims against El Dorado County, Volunteers, the Event Organizers and their affiliated companies relating to such risks. By volunteering, I agree to all Covid-19 protocols put in place by Event Organizers which may include proof of vaccination and/or negative Covid test within a certain time frame of entry. These protocols may change without notice. 8. I expressly agree to comply with all Federal, State, and Local laws, ordinance, regulations, and the rules of the Event Organizers while attending the Event.
